Udaipur Airport

The Udaipur Airport is also known as Maharana Pratap airport or Dabok airport. It is a domestic airport located at a distance of 22 km east of Udaipur. The airport is named after the prince of Mewar, Maharana Pratap, who was known for his strength and valor.

Located in the town of Dabok near Udaipur, it is well-connected to all the major cities of the country including Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jodhpur and several other cities across the country. The nearest international airport connecting Udaipur to the rest of the world is the Ahmedabad Airport which is around 215 km from here. The airport's new passenger terminal commenced operations in February.

There is only one terminal at the Udaipur airport, the domestic terminal. Spread over an area of 504 acres, the airport has one asphalt runway with a 250 by 150 meters apron which provides parking space for 3 Boeing 737s or Airbus A320 aircraft at a time.The terminal has one boarding gate, 4 Check-in counters and can handle 600 passengers during peak hours. The airport is equipped with all modern technologies including CAT – instrument landing system.

Air India, Jet Airways, Jet Konnect and Spice Jet are the flight operators which offer flights to Udaipur from other parts of the country. Passengers services at the airport includes 2 X-ray baggage scanners, trolleys, wheel chair assistance for physically challenged or aged passengers, child care room, local telephone in security hold area and rest room for transit passengers. The domestic terminal airport has the capacity for parking 400 cars at any time.
Facilities of prepaid taxi counter, handicraft emporium, tourist information centre, tea/coffee counter and ISD/ STD/ PCO are also available.
