Chari Dance - This is a famous dance type performed in the Kishangarh region of Rajasthan. Chari Dance is performed by women on special occasions like marriage celebrations, festivals and birth of a male child etc. This dance form is prominent in Saini and Gujjar communities of Ajmer and Kishangarh region. Chari Dance is executed by dancers who are colorfully dressed and hold a lighted lamp or a pot on their head. The dancers make elaborate patterns with their hands along with toe movements while holding brass pots on their heads.
Chari Dance celebrates the traditional ritual of women walking for miles to collect water for their families. The dance is performed on music played on Dholak, Nagada, Thali and Harmonium.

Kachhi Ghodi - This form of dance initiated from Bandit region of Shekhawati. It is performed by men especially in bridegroom’s party for entertainment. Men are dressed in traditional attire like kurtas, dhotis and turbans and ride on lavishly decorated dummy horses. Men hold naked swords and move musically on beats of drum.

Kathputli - “Kathputli”, the word reminds of colorful images of Rajasthan folklore. It is an old and popular form of folk entertainment. It is a well known dance form known all over the world as Puppetry dance. This famous dance form brings in light famous mythological stories from the past. Kathputli Dance is an old tradition of narrating stories via puppets. String Puppet, Rod Puppet, Shadow puppet, Glove puppet are different type of puppets found in India.
