Amber Fort Light and Sound Show, Amber or Amer Fort is one of the important tourist attractions in the Jaipur area, located high on a hill.Amer Fort was built by Raja Man Singh I. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style, blending both Hindu and Rajput elements. With its large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks the Maota Lake, at its forefront. It’s a 50-minute show that will give you a glimpse into the ancient lifestyle of the Royals in the old times. The show will give you a flashback of the history of the 600-year-old Amer fort and by the time it’s over you will have a better understanding as to how Rajasthan developed its own identity. During the show, the colorful lights brighten up the fort in various shades that follow a certain pattern with the beats of music. Alongside the music, the narrative keeps on playing in the background and the ambiance gets more and more magical that would surely cast a charming spell on you.

The guests are seated at the bottom of the hill from where a clear view of the fort can be enjoyed. As the darkness grows in the sky the colorful lights brighten up the fort and with every beat, the music accentuates different parts of the fort in sync. The script has been penned by Gulzar while the voice of Amitabh Bachchan gives weight to the narration. Maestros like Ustad Sultan Khan and Shubha Mudgal have contributed to the vocals.
