Jaipur Tour, Pink City, Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan, the largest Indian state situated in the North-Western region of India. One of the important cities of the medieval era, the city of Jaipur was established by the King Jai Singh II in the year 1727. Jai Singh II was the ruler of Amer during 1699 and 1744 when he shifted the capital from Amer to Jaipur to accommodate the growing population. The scarcity of water at the Amer, which is located around 11 km from the Jaipur city, was the prime reason to shift the capital. The architecture of the Jaipur city was developed after a long research on architecture and Vastushastra and then the construction of the city started in the year 1726 and completed after the four years. The palaces, royal offices, major roads and entry gates were constructed within four years. The city was divided into the nine blocks among which two blocks are the royal blocks which contain the palaces, state buildings and offices whereas the remaining 7 blocks were allotted to the public. Also, the seven massive gates were built for the entry into the Jaipur city.

History
Jaipur is one of the ancient royal cities of India. It is widely known as ‘Pink City’.It was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur has become the business and cultural hub. City Palace : City Palace is the fusion of of Rajput and Mughal architecture.It is famous for its magnificent carpets, musical instruments, miniature paintings,splendid manuscripts,, royal costumes.It is located at the centre of old Jaipur.
Jantar Mantar : Jantar Mantar was built by Sawai Jai Singh II.Based on astronomy, it has been described the most” realistic and logical landscape in stone”. The 16 instruments here are still used for weather forecasting.
Hawa Mahal : Hawa Mahal was created by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1979.It is a five story front view of a palace. It is now the landmark of pinkcity.
Jal Mahal : The Jal Mahal commonly known as "Water Palace" is a wonderful Mughal-Rajput style castle placed in the core of the Mansagar Lake which is present at outskirts of Jaipur.
Amber Fort : It is situated at 11km from Jaipur. the Amber Fort was the capital Kachhwaha clan. It is the most popular fort in Jaipur. Amber Fort was created by Man Singh I. It has a historical significance which makes it a most visited place in Jaipur. Its remarkable architecture makes it a great attraction for tourists.
Jaigarh Fort : Jaigarh for is located 15 kms from Jaipur. Jaigarh fort and the Amber Fort are joined by well secure passages and are often treated as one Complex by many. The Jaigarh fort is located at an height of 400 ft from the Amber Fort.The Fort is famous because world’s largest cannon present in its premises.
Nahargarh Fort : The beautiful fort of Nahargarh situated on a hilltop overlooking the city of Jaipur. It was built in 1734 by Sawai Jai Singh to protect his new city. Elaborately painted rooms were built.
Perverted glass Windows, perfectly carved doors and the most beautiful paintings made this hill-fort a masterpiece. The fort spreads across the hill from where one can see whole city of Jaipur and can watch sunset view over the city.
