Nathmal Ki Haveli 
This Nathmal Ji ki haveli was commissioned to serve as the residence of Diwan Mohata Nathmal, the then Prime Minister of Jaisalmer. here is a very interesting story regarding its construction. It is said that the two brothers started building different facets of haveli simultaneously. In those days there were no such instruments, which could keep a track on continuity and thus when this building came up finally it had irregular shape.

Gadsisar Lake
Gadsisar lake was bulit in 1400 Ad by Maharawal Gadsi Singh. An interesting fact about the lake is that it never dries as it gets continuous water supply from the Indira Gandhi Canal. Considering its importance, many small temples and shrines were constructed around it, transforming it into a pilgrimage centre and a tourist attraction.

Though it gets kind of annoying at the end of the second day to sit and dangle on the camel’s back and people with sea sickness probably will have problems adjusting. In case you can’t take the ride of camel’s back any more, you are free to walk. Lodhruva is a small city 5 Kms away from Jaisalmer and is famous of its Jain Temple. This is a 900 year old temple dedicated to 23rd Tirthankara. The temple was also destroyed by Muhammad Ghori in 1152 AD and after 800+ years it was rebuilt by locals along with government officials and they brought the temple back to its glory.
