Spread over an area of 4,500 square yards and consisting of 29 halls, the temple is one of the most important of the five major pilgrimage centres of Jainism. The temple is designed as a ‘chaumukha’, which means that it has four faces. In the complex, there are several temples including Chaumukha temple, Parsavanath temple, Amba Mata Temple and Surya Temple. Amongst all of them, Chaumukha Temple is the most important.

Tanot Mata Temple Jaisalmer :-
Tanot Mata Temple is 78 Kms from Jaisalmer city and very close to Pokhran where India’s second nuclear test look place in 1999 by Army. It is believed that a Saint named Galav lived here, practiced meditation, and did penance (tpasya)
