There are several Eco Huts (developed by the Mussoorie Forest Department) which offer accommodation to the tourists. In addition, the place is also popular among travellers for its Potato farm, locally known as ‘Aloo Khet’. The Dashavatar Temple, New Tehri Township, Barehipani and Joranda Falls, Deogarh Fort and Matatila Dam are some of the other tourist hotspots located nearby. Visitors can also enjoy various adventure sports like rock climbing, river crossing, hiking and trekking in the Camp Thangdhar. This camp provides accommodation to travellers along with all the basic facilities.

By Train : Dehradun railway station, located at the distance of 25 km from Dhanaulti, is the closest railway station. Regular trains like the Doon Express, Mussoorie express, and the Delhi to Dehradun Shatabdi and Jan Shatabdi etc are avaliable. The common connecting city is Delhi for most of the trains.
By Road : Best option to reach Dhanaulti is through Mussoorie, which is the closest popular location at a distance of about 33 km. Since Dhanaulti is fairly popular among the locals, cabs and taxis, normal and luxury buses are also available.
