Traditionally, this festival has its origin in Punjab, but is still celebrated in the whole of Haryana as well. Gangore, Baisakhi, Gugga Naumi, Surajkund Craft and Kartik Fair are a few other festivals held in Haryana. Haryana Day is celebrated on September 1st of every year as it was the day when the Haryana Tourism.
