Day 1 :Chennai (Arrival)
On arriving at Chennai Airport, you will be received by South India representative to accompany you to sign into the hotel. You can relax the rest of the day on arrival. Overnight stay at the hotel in Chennai.
Day 2 :Chennai
After having delicious breakfast at the hotel, spend the full day in Chennai sightseeing and exploring Marina Beach, Kapaleeshwar Temple, local spice markets of Chennai, and Fort St. George. Stay at Chennai for overnight.
Day 3 :Chennai – Kancheepuram – Mahabalipuram – Chennai
In Chennai, take your breakfast at the hotel. Set out for Mahabalipuram trip which will take 1 hour for 56 km from Chennai. On the way, explore Kancheepuram and it is at a distance of 75 km. You will also explore various other famous temples such as Sri Kamakshi Temple, Varadarajaswamy Temple, Kailasanatha Temple, and Ekambaswara Temple. After Kancheepuram exploration, drive towards Mahabalipuram and on arrival, sign into the hotel. Later, we will take you to visit Mahabalipuram monuments such as Shore Temple, Caves of Mahabalipuram, Arjuna’s Penance and rathas. In the evening, get back to the hotel for overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.
Day 4 :Chennai – Madurai (By Flight)
Take the flight to Chennai early in the morning. On arriving, you will have full day Madurai sightseeing and will be visiting Tirumala’s palace and Meenakshi Amann Temple. Overnight stay is scheduled at Madurai hotel.
Day 5 :Madurai – Munnar
After the delicious breakfast, move towards Munnar. On reaching, sign into the hotel. Afterward, you will be taken to explore Tea museum and Tea Plantation and Tea factory. Stay at Munnar for a full night.
Day 6 :Munnar
Post breakfast at the hotel, you will be heading for whole day Munnar tour. Start your trip with Eravikulam national park which is also called as Rajamali National Park. Other places of sightseeing include old Munnar town, Pothamedu view, and Mattupetty Dam. You will be retiring to the hotel in the evening to relax and stay overnight at Munnar.
Day 7 :Munnar – Periyar
After breakfast, get ready for the Periyar tour. It is about 93 km distance from Munnar and it will take approximately 3 hours. As you reach Periyar, you will sign into the hotel. Afterward, continue to explore Periyar wildlife. The whole wildlife is being embellished with a beautiful lake. You can relish pleasing boat ride on Periyar Lake. In the evening, return to the hotel and stay overnight at Periyar.
Day 8 :Periyar – Alleppey
Alleppey is located at a distance of about 132 km from Periyar. So after breakfast at the hotel, leave for Alleppey sightseeing. Catch the houseboat and relish the tasty lunch in the afternoon. Have the joyful floating tour of Alleppey backwaters in the evening. You will be having onboard dinner and stay for a full night at Alleppey.
Day 9 :Alleppey – Cochin
Have your breakfast first and drive towards Cochin. Cochin is situated about 53 km away from Alleppey and on arrival, you will explore Chinese fishing net, Jewis Synagogue, Fort Kochi region, Evening Kathakali dance show, and Dutch Palace. You can have an interesting boat ride on Wellington island and saunter in the marine drive where you will discover various shopping outlets and food joints. Stay at Cochin for overnight.
Day 10 :Cochin - Departure
This is the last day of the tour and therefore our South India Representative will accompany you to Cochin airport right after breakfast at the hotel.
