The temple of Karni Mata at Deshnok is unique in itself. Dedicated to the mother goddess it is inhabited by hordes of rats which are revered. It is located near Bikaner. Jagdish Temple in Udaipur was built in the mid17th century. it houses a remarkable bronze statue of Garuda facing his revered Lord Vishnu. The temple of Eklingji, the Shaiva patron deity of the Udaipur royal house is 24 km by road from Udaipur. Eklingji Temple is carved from marble.
