Chandkheri Digamber Jain Mandir is situated in Jhalawar district in the state of Rajasthan. A very beautiful idol of Lord Adinath (Rishabhdeo, the first Teerthankar) in padmasan posture, made of Red Stone, 6.25 feet in height is installed in a basement 12 feet underground. The inscription is marked V.S. 512. This idol is with unique features & miracules. Celebrations of the completion of temple were headed by Bhattaraka Jagatkeertiji in V.S. 1746.
It is said that at the back of the idol of Lord Adinath, the principal deity, there is a marvelous idol of Bhagwan Chandraprabhu made of precious gems ad jewels, which is closed by a wall now a days.
This temple was constructed by the secretary of Kota State Shri Kishandas Mariya during V.S. 1730 to V.S. 1746. This idol was found and brought from the forest of Shergarh – Barapati area.
In this premises of the temple, there is a column of dignity and Samavsharan Mandir (Temple) also noticeable.
