October through March is the best time to enjoy the sun kissed city of Jodhpur. This marks the pleasant winter months where outdoor desert activities, sightseeing and honeymooning become a mainstay.

Winter Season :
Winter marks the onset of peak season in Jodhpur with pleasant weather. The temperature can go as low as 10°C in winters. Set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert, Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination, featuring many palaces, forts and temples. Popularly known as Blue city and Sun city, there are several places to visit in Jodhpur that includes Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, Mandore, Kaylana Lake and Garden, Balsamand Lake, Sardar Samand Lake and Palace, Siddhnath Shiva Temple and Naini Bai ka Temple and Ghanta Ghar. Though, Jodhpur experiences monsoon along with the temperature drop, there is an increase in humidity level at this time. Though Jodhpur and surrounding places can still be visited during monsoon, heavy rains can block the roads to several tourist places. Monsoon is not an ideal time to visit Jodhpur, but if you would like to just relax and to watch the beautiful landscapes, it is still a good time.
