How to Reach Bikaner is an arid desert city in the state of Rajasthan, surrounded by Thar, and home to the iconic Junagarh Fort. Created from an arid forest by Rao Bika, Bikaner took birth from what was called ‘Jungladesh’. Bikaner is now one of the most sophisticated places in Rajasthan, with good infrastructure weaving its way through the old and new, small and big houses and havelis in its lap. The city is well connected to the rest of the sub-continent via road, rail and air.
