How to Reach Mount Abu
How to Reach Mount Abu is a serene hill station on the Aravali range. This is the only hill station in the state of Rajasthan. This rocky plateau which is 22 kilometres long and 9 kilometres wide lies in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan. During the late eighties, it emerged as a popular tourist destination and then onwards the connectivity to this place has been improved.
By Air:
The nearest airport is located at Udaipur. The distance from Mount Abu to Udaipur is 185km. Ahmedabad which is about 221km distant, houses an airport which has superior connectivity. There are daily flights from Ahmedabad to other parts of India. You can hire a private car or, taxi from both the airports to reach Mount Abu.
By Train:
The Abu Road Railway Station lies at a distance of 29km. Being located on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Ajmer-Jaipur-Delhi route, it has an access to numerous road transports. You can easily avail buses or, taxis to reach Mount Abu from here.
By Road:
About 24km from Mount Abu is located the National Highway no.14. Having a national highway in the vicinity leaves you with numerous road transport facilities. Mount Abu is 222km from Ahmedabad via Palanpur. Travelling via Pali-Ajmer, you can reach Jaipur at a distance of 509km. At a distance of 156km via Pindwara lies Udaipur.
