Things To Do In Mount Abu is Rajasthan’s version of hill station, a jewel encrusted in the crown that is the Aravali Ranges. Most prefer to visit Mount Abu during summers to escape the lowland heat, just like the ancient kings and queens did. Of course, today the mortal man does not have the luxury of hunting trips and caravans in the jungle, but Mount Abu never falls back on the promise to offer other more exciting things to do. 1. Trekking

4. Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary
In the Aravalli range, you can spot a diverse collection of flora and fauna. Leopards, sloth bears, pangolins, mongoose, Indian Foxes, jackals, wolves, hyenas, jungle cats are found here. The presence of a tiger was reported back in the 1970s.

5. Achalgarh fort
You have to climb quite a way up to explore this fort. It was mainly used to keep an eye on the enemy. The Achalgarh Temple nearby worships Lord Shiva. And within the fort, you can also click countless pictures keeping Mandakini Lake as the background.

6. Guru Shikhar
The view is so mesmerizing from the top that you might want to go back all over again. You can also ring a huge bell at the top that rumbles across the valley.

7. Travor’s tank
It is a safe haven for partridges, pigeons and peacocks. Crocodiles are the main highlight here. You may be lucky to spot a few lurking in this lake. It is a true treat for nature lovers.

8. Caves
You can enjoy the extreme wilderness in a cave. You can explore the nooks and corners. The sweet melody of the churning waterfall cavern is music to the ears. 9. Dhrudhiya waterfalls
If you want to go on an adventure off the grid, this is the best place to be. You can enjoy the rustic beauty of this magnificent waterfall. The water bubbling towards the cavern below makes it a paradise for nature lovers.

10. Sunset point
It is a spot near Nakki Lake that will capture your attention. You can take a horse ride to the top or simply walk. The trek is truly worth it. You will be totally mesmerized by the view here. Make sure that you have a good camera to capture the mountains kissing the sun.

11. Dilwara Temple
The statue of Shiva and Nandi is supposedly made of 5 metals here. You can seek the blessings of the Almighty while enjoying the pristine landscape.

12. Toad Rock
The elevated height of this uniquely shaped rock makes it the mascot of Mount Abu. You have to trek to this spot. It provides a mesmerizing view from the top. You can sit here and stare at the Nakki Lake below.
