Ajmer Pushkar Sightseeing Day Trip from Jaipur

Duration: 8-9 Hours
Places of Visit: Pushkar Lake, Sharif Dargah, Brahma Temple & Ana Sagar Lake.

07:00 AM: Jaipur – Ajmer
​Early morning, you will be picked up in an air conditioned car by our staff who will drive towards Ajmer (Distance between Jaipur to Ajmer is 130 km by Road).

9:30 AM - Arrival Ajmer
After reaching Ajmer first you will visit Sharif Dargah which is also known as the tomb of Khwaja-Muin-ud-din Chisti. The shrine has the grave of the revered saint, Moinuddin Chisti. Ajmer Sharif Dargah is one of the holiest places of worship in India not only for the Muslims but followers of every faith.

11:00 AM - Drive to Pushkar
After exploring Ajmer, you will be heading towards Pushkar. Pushkar is a town bordering the Thar Desert, in the northeastern Indian state of Rajasthan. It's set on Pushkar Lake, a sacred Hindu site with 52 Ghats where pilgrims bathe. The town has hundreds of temples, including 14th-century Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, dedicated to the god of creation, which has a distinctive red spire and walls inlaid with pilgrims’ silver coins.

12:00 AM - Reach Pushkar
You will be in famous places of pushkar; first you will visit Pushkar Lake which is a sacred lake of the Hindus. The Hindu scriptures describe it as "Tirtha-Raj" – the king of pilgrimage sites related to a water-body and relate it to the mythology of the creator-god Brahma, whose most prominent temple stands in Pushkar. The Pushkar Lake finds mention on coins as early as the 4th century BC.
Later you will visit Brahma Temple, The temple is one of the most famous and only few of the temples dedicated to Lord Brahma in the holy city of Pushkar, Rajasthan.
Next visit Ana Sagar Lake which is an artificial lake and It was built by Arnoraja, the grandfather of Prithviraj Chauhan, in 1135 -1150 AD and is named after him. The catchments were built with the help of local populace. The lake is spread over 13 Kilometers.

5:00 PM - Drive to Jaipur
After completing of the sightseeing, you will drive back to Jaipur for departure.

7:30 PM - Departure
On arrival at Jaipur, you will be dropped at hotel or railway station / airport.
