Jaipur Wax Museum is situated on the 300-year-old Nahargarh Fort which is on the edge of the Aravalli hills. The museum has segregated its galleries based on different themes and displayed it in the 'Shastragaar' and 'Vishraamghar' sections of the fort.
The museum is divided in three galleries namely Hall of Icons, Royal Darbar, and Sheesh Mahal. Hall of Icons showcases wax and silicon statues of iconic personalities from diverse fields such as history, cinema, sports, literature, art, and culture. The statues of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Kaplana Chawla, Amitabh Bachchan, Mahatma Gandhi, Sachin Tendulkar, Mother Teresa, Dalai Lama and many others are displayed in this gallery. The Royal Darbar is decorated with enchanting paintings that depict the rich heritage of Rajasthan. This courtroom displays paintings with pure gold motifs and wax statues of eminent rulers of the Rajput dynasty such as Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and Rajmata Gayatri Devi. Sheesh Mahal has been designed into a magnificent mirror work splendor. It has traditional thikri mirror work and displays approximately 2.5 million glass pieces to create optical illusion.
Jaipur Wax Museum Timings
Visitors can visit this place between 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. It remains open on all weekdays. Festival days may affect the timings. Approx. 2 hours required to watch all the statues in the museum. Try to avoid visiting in afternoon during summer.

The Wax museum of Jaipur was established in the year 2016. The person behind this museum is Mr. Anup Shrivastav. He founded this life-like statue gallery with the help of renowned artist Susanta Ray. Susanta is well-known gold medalist from Indian Art College of Kolkata. Now he is known as a master in wax sculptures in India. There are a number of statues of Indian and Internationally acclaimed prominent personalities. Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, Queen Of Jaipur Maharani Gayatri Devi, Great Scientist Albert Einstine, Noble Award Winner Writer Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore are some of the personalities whose wax statues are showcased in the museum.
