Places to See in Nathdwara is a small and beautiful town situated between the Aravali hills on the banks of Banas River in Rajsamand district. This town is very popular for its temple of Krishna which houses a deity of Krishna. This temple has a very rich and interesting history behind it which we will come to later. The literal meaning of the word Nathdwara is ‘Gateway to Shreenathji’.
Charbhuja: Charbhuja is located in the outskirts of Nathdwara that is close to the Bor Rajputs. It is a sacred temple that is dedicated to the shrines of Lord Vishnu who is meant to be the protector.
Shrinathji Temple: This is one of the most sought pilgrimage sight that was built in the 12th century, in the honor of Lord Krishna. The ones having faith in Vaishnavism along with Hindus can pay a visit to the temple.
Eklingji Temple: The Eklingji temple is situated in the town of Eklingji that is in close proximity of the Eklingji lake. This temple is dedicated to the main idol of the Sesodia Dynasty, Eklingji which means Lord Shiva.
Dwarkadheesh Temple: This temple is of utmost importance for the Vaishnavas and Vallabhacharya sect, situated in Kankroli village that is near the Navchauki Dam.
