This year, the Rann Utsav of Kutch, Gujarat will be started from 10th November 2024. The three months long, Rann Utsav will be concluded on 25th February 2025 There are various programs performed by the local artisans in this more than 3 Months-long duration carnival. This festival starts during the full moon nights of the winters after the fascinating sunsets. This is a festival of colors, demonstrating the great and phenomenal lifestyle of Kutch get accolades nationally and internationally.
The area where the festival is celebrated is spread over 5,00,000 sq. mt. The elegant full moon nights gives a special landscape and surreal embellishment to this festival as well. The Annual Rann Utsav event offers to visit the Great Rann of Kutch, the area of white desert lies in India-Pakistan border. There are various handicrafts and outdoor activities offered in the carnival those make it a perfect holiday destination.
In the Rann Utsav, the people with a rich cultural heritage increase the beauty of canvas of “White Rann.” The Kutch District is also known as one of the largest salt deserts in the world.
