Great Rann of Kutch
The Rann of Kutch is India’s largest white desert and the world’s largest salt desert. The sparkling desert on the full moon is the major attraction amongst tourists. It is also famous for its ecologically rich wildlife and hence is the major attraction for wildlife photographers and nature enthusiasts. Several cultural events, including Rann Utsav are celebrated here. The best time to visit the Rann is winters from October to February.
Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary
Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary is home to hundreds of animals and birds. The widest variety of flamingo birds can be seen here. Other animals found here are black-necked storks, spiny-tailed lizard, Indian cormorant, greater flamingo, and wild ass. The sanctuary remains open on all days from 06:00 am to 06:00 pm. The entry fee is Rs. 250 per adult on weekdays and Rs. 280 on weekends, and Rs. 1200 for foreign tourists on weekdays and Rs. 1500 on weekends.
Dholavira
Dholavira is one of the largest excavation sites of the Indus Valley Civilization, and is also considered one of the most developed civilizations of the time. Here, remains of ancient settlements such as markets, fortifications, and dwellings can be seen. Artifacts excavated from here such as vessels, ornaments, seals, pottery, etc are exhibited in the museum.
Mandvi Beach
Mandvi Beach is a clean and pristine in Kutch region of Gujarat. Unlike other beaches, Mandvi is a secluded beach far from the rush and crowd of tourists. Topansar Lake

This place is also an ideal spot for bird watchers since a huge variety of migratory birds can be observed here. Black-headed gull and brown-headed gulls are found in the largest number here.
Kalo Dungar
Kalo Dungar or Black hills is the highest point peak of the Kutch region offering a bird-eye view of the entire region. The highlight of this hill is Dattatreya Temple, dedicated to Lord Dattatreya, an incarnation of Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva. Since this hill is near to Pakistan border, an army post is also located here.
