Udai Sagar Lake is located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, a state in India. The Maharana Raj Singh defeated the army of the Aurangzeb Emperor at the banks of the Udai Sagar Lake. Therefore, this lake is considered as the most important lake in the books of the rulers of Mewar. History of Udai Sagar Lake:
Maharana Udai Singh developed this dam on Berach River, to guarantee sufficient supply of water in his kingdom. The welcome was declined by Pratap Singh and he even offended Man Singh. This episode prompted the Battle of Haldighati in 1576. Best time to Visit
September to March is the ideal time to visit Udai Sagar Lake. Maximum temperature is 28 degrees Celsius and minimum is 11 degrees Celsius. During this time, the climate is pleasant and you can enjoy it with full glory.
In summer season, the temperature is very high, between 38 to 28 Degrees Celsius. Because of the high temperature, it is not preferable to visit Udai Sagar Lake during summer.
