Ramgarh Vishdhari Sanctuary Bundi

Ramgarh Vishdhari Wildlife Sanctuary is located 45 kilometres from Bundi on the Bundi-Nainwa road. Covering an area of 252 sq. km., this sanctuary is home to a variety of flora and fauna. Established in 1982, it forms a buffer for Ranthambore National Park. The best time to visit is between September and May.

Ramgarh Vishdhari Wildlife Sanctuary is basically home to some of the wild predators like hyena, tiger, panthers, antelopes, and wild boars. If you want to visit this wildlife sanctuary then you have to take special permission from the forest department of the state. History & Attractions of the Wildlife Sanctuary :
It was notified in the Year 1982 and is spread over an area of 252.79 Sq. Km. It comprises of hilly dry deciduous forests on Vindhyan formations. Its flora consists of Dhok (Angoeissus pendula), Khair (Acacia catechu), Salar (Boswellia serrata) Khirni (Manilkara hexandra) trees with some Mango and Ber trees. The Fauna consists of birds and animals like Leopard, Sambhar, Wild boar, Chinkara, Sloth bear, Indian Wolf, Hyena, Jackal, Fox, deer and Crocodile.

Bundi Attractons

The Taragarh Fort in Bundi is undoubtedly its most popular tourist destination. Built in the 14th century, the fort is situated on a hilltop that is covered with trees and offers spectacular views of the town below.
