Lake Palace, now known as Taj Lake Palace, is one of the most famous heritage landmarks of Udaipur, Rajasthan. It stands on Jag Niwas Island in the middle of Lake Pichola, creating a striking view of the surrounding City Palace, Aravalli hills, and historic waterfront.
